Dear Shoreline Families,
As we enter the last month of school, we have numerous pieces of information to share with you. Thank you in advance for looking over each section and if you have any questions, please reach out to Shoreline’s office at 475-6565. We are grateful for your continued support and partnership and look forward to finishing this school year strong. Have a great day and a beautiful weekend.
STAR Testing letter & schedule:
In response to this unprecedented year, LOSD has chosen to use alternate assessments in lieu of the CAASPP state tests. Students’ AR STAR Reading and Math test scores will be used as a measurement for academic progress. Shoreline will be making a slight adjustment to the bell schedule and will administer the tests online on Wednesday, May 5th and Thursday, May 6th at 8:00 in Advisory Class. Please see the schedule here.
On May 5th and 6th instead of attending 4th, 5th and 6th period morning classes, students will Zoom into their Advisory class at 8:00 a.m. Please make sure your student attends Advisory class, gets a good night's sleep, has something to eat, water to drink and feels prepared to do their best! For more information, please read this letter.
Progress Report Directions:
Student progress reports are now available in the Infinite Campus Portal. Directions to view progress reports can be found here. Students and families can also come to the office and get a printed copy of the progress report.
